Paint correction

Swirls out. Depth back in.

Paint goes dull because of thousands of fine scratches, mostly from automatic car washes and dirty sponges. We measure the paint first, then machine polish it in stages until the gloss comes back.

  1. Decontaminate

    Foam, hand wash, iron remover and clay, so nothing gets dragged across the paint.

  2. Correct

    One, two or three machine stages, chosen after paint depth readings.

  3. Protect

    Sealant or a ceramic coating to lock the finish in.

Protection measured in years, not washes.

A coating is a hard, clear layer bonded to the paint. Pick how long you want it to last. Prices follow the vehicle size chosen above.

Before you book

How long will you need the car?

A maintenance wash takes about an hour. Paint correction is most of a day, and ceramic coatings stay with us overnight so they can cure indoors.

Do you come to me?

Yes, for washes, interiors and pre-sale details, within 15 km of the studio. Correction and coating are done in the studio, where the light and dust are under control.

Will polishing thin my paint?

A little, which is why we take paint depth readings first and only remove what is needed. If the paint is too thin to correct safely, we tell you before starting.

How do I pay?

When you collect the car, by card or bank transfer. Coatings need a deposit to hold the booking.
